How should we live?
(This site is under construction and will be updated regularly with content, mainly in ebook form and narrated by me as audio books and essays.)
This is one of humanity's oldest questions. It has occupied philosophers, psychologists and spiritual teachers for thousands of years, yet it remains as urgent today as ever.
In an age rich in information but often poor in wisdom, many people find themselves searching not simply for answers, but for a way of living that is meaningful, authentic and morally grounded.
Philosophy for Living was created as a place to explore that search.
Drawing on philosophy, psychology and over three decades of counselling experience, this site brings together books, essays, workshops, narrated talks and other resources designed to help thoughtful people reflect more deeply on what it means to live well in a complex world.
This is not about offering simple solutions or ready-made certainties.
It is an invitation to think carefully, to question honestly, and to discover those enduring principles that enable human beings to flourish.
Whether we are exploring meaning and purpose through Viktor Frankl, authenticity through existential philosophy, the dangers of ideology and human evil, or the lifelong pursuit of moral maturity, the goal remains the same:
To cultivate a life shaped by truth, love, beauty and creativity.
If these questions matter to you, I hope you will feel at home here.
Welcome.
